Failing to find Autoglym or Connolly's, I purchased some Lexol from the local Tractor Supply store. They sell lots of product for conditioning tack, so I figured it ought to work for my car seats. My two step process involved cleaning first with liquid saddle soap. After a reasonable drying period, I rub the liberal amounts of Lexol in with my fingers.
All you need is something to replace the oils in the leather. The Lexol I used claims not to darken tan colored leather. It didn't darken mine.
As far as vinyl cleaners, I can't halp there much, but would like to find a good product myself.
What's the common wisdom regarding Armour All on vinyl?
