driving does nothing to add wear to the engine. I don't claim to know why they can say this but since I also drive in Sport Mode at all times (except snow) I was also concerend about it causing wear to the engine along the lines of higher revs, etc. The service people at both The Saab Exchange (a 'volume' sales place in Chicago area) as well as at the more pricey and highly rated for service Motorwerks each said don't think twice about driving in sport mode. So I don't! The joys of a lease as it were.
