I remember the post and I remember getting slammed by somebody I commented that you needed reprograming to completely cancel the DRLs.
I find what you get interesting and different that what I get. I had the dealer reprogram both the head lights and the fog lights on my 2000 Aero to option 1. I believe you are correct when you say these are the European setting.
I basically get what you get with two exception and the first could be a translation problem. First, in the park light position, I get what are called city lights in Europe, which is the parking lights and a low power bulb in the headlight assembly that causes them to glow. Second, my fog lights do not shut off when I select high beams. I like what you have better as far as the fog/high beam thing as you are correct, having more than 4 lights on the front of a car in the U.S. is illegal. I would be interested in knowing what setting you have for your head lights and fog lights, I believe they settings go from option 1 to option 3.
