The car kit is no longer sold by Samsung. They used to sell it for $199 each. Instead, I found them on eBay NIB selling for <$25. The mount and pigtail were the biggest part of the cost.
The installer tried installed a relay, as one member here described using to switch between the car kit speaker and the stereo speakers. But it didn't work. Wound up spending a lot of time screwing around with it. The whole installation took about 5 hours (partly because of the relay problem/partly because of the difficulty getting my radio out/partly because it was his first time installing in a Saab). He had quoted me $70 and didn't charge me for the relay -said he could use it on something else. I gave him an extra $30 for his trouble. If he had to do it again, I think he'd have it done in 2-3 hours. Had another installer who said he'd do it for $65.
I'll probably have him put in an antenna. Thinking about one of the interior glass mounted styles.
