Well, yeah, but I had just bought the car. And I told them that I was returning it if they did nothing. And I had a sympathetic sales guy who also put some pressure on service... another reason for 1) using a dealer and not the internet and 2) finding a sympathetic sales guy... there are some at Saab, especially the ones who will tell you that they've been selling them since the old days when it was "a real car for the people" as my sales guy told me as he tuned the car's stereo to NPR without asking me as soon as my test drive began. This was exactly the right sales move on his part! Let the liberal kid in a suit at 6:30pm after a hard days work in investments trying to buy the big Saab think he's getting a "real car for the people". Sales is half illusion as they say. They call that Brand Image and educated people buy into it, too.
