Hello,
presumably what you did is that you adjusted the position of the butterfly in the throttle body (to a more open one thus letting more air in). If that's the case (which I believe) then I also believe that applying a throttle body cleaner would do a better job for you.
This (stalling and/or fluctuating idle at warm start) was a problem on my car and cleaning the throttle body and the fuel system fixed all stalling and idle hesitation problems. No new ECU etc. needed!
I believe dealers love to change throttle bodies (under warranty or you pay it) since this is an money making and quick fix that works 100% - a new body is always clean :-) ... and the customer is happy!
