Now for the questions:
- Getting a slight rattle coming from the front end when I back out every morning. Once the car has been driven, don't really notice it or cannot hear it. Will continue to monitor. Any ideas?
Sometimes companies use air injection when cold for emissions. On the 9-3SS it's a small electric powered centrifugal compressor - also on Mrs. G's Olds. Don't know what an '03 9-5 uses.
- When rolling at a low speed and preparing to stop, sometimes notice the transmission kick down. It is quite noticeable. Is this normal?
I don't notice it. But then I'm not often in Sports Mode.
- Again when rolling at low speeds, sometimes get a momentary "rattle" - the feeling is like the car going over speed/edge bumps on the edges of highways. I notice this when the car is rolling slowly on a flat side street and only for a few seconds. Any ideas?
Nope.
- Sometimes when starting for the first time in the morning, the cranking is accompanied by kind of a "clunk". Does not happen always.
Does not happen to me. But then the radio is always on...
- Should I change engine oil at 3000 KM? Shouldn't be necessary, but it wouldn't hurt anything. I just changed mine at the half-way point (8000 km).
