Like I said in my message, I did it too. Trying to loosen it with a 12 point socket and the car sitting on level ground. I still have the old bolt as a spare/reminder.
Now I only use a 6 point and have a set of Rhino Ramps so I can slither far enough under the car to actually see the bolt.
