Hi,
You should definitely switch to Mobil 1 0W-40 or some other oil
which meets ACEA A3/B3.
Once you pass 100,000 miles, you might consider Mobil 1 15W-50 due
to greater gaps between engine parts due to wear. 15W-50 also meets
ACEA A3/B3. Another choice at high mileage is Delvac. Dean can tell
you all about that. I believe Delvac 1 is a 5W-40 weight oil.
This is somewhat infuriating that Saab gives us 5w-30 blend even
as factory fill so that it can claim CAFE compliance.
