There have been a few folks with ng900's and 9-3's who have had some serious problems after washing the engine. I think that you will want to keep the alternator dry and don't wet the serpentine belt pullies. At least a pressure washer could force water past the seals. There are connectors for the O2 sensors and other things. The O2 senors are high impedance devices, so I would expect that water in the connectors could create problems. You don't want water in spark plug wells. So you may need to pull a DI and look that things are dry and wet vac things if needed. Keep the DI's connector dry as well.
Water itself is a poor conductor. Some of the cleaners will be highly ionic and will conduct and will creare corrosion is not removed, and the corrosion of cleaner residue cross electrical components could conduct a current and then you are into some potentially serious electro-chemistry.
