Personally, I think they're one of the nicer wheels offered on a production car. If you don't like them though, there are plenty of alternatives. I particularly like OZ Superleggera's if you don't mind spending the cash.
Perhaps you can work out a deal with the dealer to buy your Aero with the 16" wheels and a discount. You can use your 16" wheels for your snows in the winter and spend the money you save towards your new summer wheels! Another possiblity is to just use the factory 17" for your snows and get another set for the summer. That's what I'm doing, most people here seem to like the 16" option, but I've run mine all winter without any issues, except a set of 225-45-17 snow tires can get a bit pricey.
Sorry, can't help decide on the seats- mine's an '02 and vented sport seats weren't an option. I hear they're quite nice when its warm albeit a bit loud.
