I've just taken delivery of an Oct 99, 9-5SE (56,000 miles) I had it a day, and I'm unable to drive it. I thought I'd been filled up with bad gas. After further consultation and reading postings on various SAAB sites I'm getting nearer to the real issue.
I removed the air hose from the throttle body and it is full of oil. I've checked the PCV, it's clear and working. Hoses look OK. I'm also getting some oil in the exhaust pipe.
Can anybody please tell me the next steps as there's not much SAAB support out here. For example:
What should I strip out and clean?
Do I need to replace the Turbo?
Surely the rings have not gone after 56K!
Thanking you in anticipation
