onto snow pile frozen with gravels. If you take that lip off, it would look like a standard 9-5 without the black side spoiler trims. I don't think anyone other than Aero owners would notice the difference.
I have thought about using the standard spoiler trims instead, I think they cost about $70. When you take the Aero lip off, you leave an inch or so on the side in front of the front wheel wells exposed. You can run the car without the Aero lip and that's what I did while I put touch up paint on the scratched up lip and part of the air dam.
The Aero lip runs about $150 from dealer, less from Saabnet sponsor, but you need to paint to match and that would be at least another $150 more.
BTW, the Aero lip isn't exactly the easiest thing to remove or put back on with the car on the ground.
