I sugggest a bottle of Techron Concentrate every 8K miles. It will clean the combustion chamber and the injectors. You can find it at most parts stores in the US. There are other products that are claimed to be better, but not so easy to find.
If you have not used these things before, I suggest two treated tanks of fuel. Just follow the directions on the bottle.
Severe carbon deposits on pistons and the head are not really as much problem as some posts might suggest. But perhaps fouled injectors contribute to this.
