still a pain to find and repair the EVAP fault codes problems.
The EVAP system have absolutly nothing to do with the car running good or better. It's only to keep the emissions down for the future of the world.
And it leaves us mechanics look like idiots because we might not find the problem until the second or third try. AND the car runs like a champ the whole time, but the dreaded CE light is on.
I had one 9-5 where the plastic fuel tank had cracked just around the mounting flange of the pressure sensor. It took me quite awhile before I found it, It wasn't until I dropped the tank, pressurized it and sprayed soap water over the whole tank that the leak was visible.
