I don't believe a three year old car that has been taken care of should show any signs of rust. I had a 7 year old 9000 and it was absolutely clean, even with salt and sand every winter. Personally I would opt for the lower mileage car if economics allow. Is $19K a fair price? The higher mileage car will require more repairs sooner, thus eating up some, if not all of the price difference. Also, if there are any issues, you still have almost a year of warrranty. Why was the tranny replaced at 32K? Manual? Did the high mileage car have a new master/slave cyliner yet? Clutch? Oil changed every 5K? Bottom line, go with your gut feeling, and good luck!
