Do I need to arm myself with anything when I go to the dealer with this? Chances are that it wont happen when I bring it to the dealership, and I don't want to get shot down. Did your dealer just take your word?
I bought this car in Dec 2002 from a private seller, and have never had a car with a warranty on it before. Here is a quick list of the other things I want to have worked on...do you think they will do something under warranty for these items?:
1) suroof switch loose, sometimes does not make connection causing me to have to make 2-3 presses on the switch to get it moving.
2) Driver's side mirror pane loose and vibrates in the housing (rather loud at speed)...can only be moved vertically by mirror switch. (The passenger side mirror can only go vertically as well, but it is firmly attached). Mirror switch bad + broken drivers side mount?
3) Previously posted ACC issue.
Thanks for your help. I just don't want to appear like a dope to the dealer if I ask for this work to be done under warranty and it's not a warranty issue or something. Finally, can I expect to get a loaner car? Again, I am new to the whole warranty thing, and don't know if this is something that I am entitled to.
Regards,
Brian
