1) suroof switch loose, sometimes does not make connection causing me to have to make 2-3 presses on the switch to get it moving.
absolutely a warranty issue.
2) Driver's side mirror pane loose and vibrates in the housing (rather loud at speed)...can only be moved vertically by mirror switch. (The passenger side mirror can only go vertically as well, but it is firmly attached). Mirror switch bad + broken drivers side mount?

absolutely a warranty issue. It is my experience that the dealer will take your word for it even if they cannot reproduce. Beside, mentioning it to them prior to warranty expiration will help you significantly should the SID completely fail post-warranty. In that case, you will be able to argue that you brought this issue to their attention prior to 4/50 and that they should cover it. This technique has worked for others here.
