Thanks for the condescending Leasing 101 primer, Roger. However, contract or not, Saab/GM spends millions on trying to increase their dwindling customer base as evidenced by their new ad campaign. How about trying to hang on to existing ones? I would think that recognition of economic reality and AT LEAST hooking me up with their insurer (which they refuse to do!!!) to negotiate a much better buyout than they'll see at auction would be a prudent course of action. I'm not trying to steal the car, but I'd be a fool to pay thousands over its value.
I'm not ranting - the car isn't worth the psychic investment in ranting - but I AM amazed at how boneheaded they are not to at least have the goodwill to help me negotiate a fair buyout. It's not my fault the car has such abysmal resale value. It would cost them nothing to work with me save a little SFSC staff time. Now, they'll get nothing more from me.
