This is something one could do with an automatic geat box. But with 5spd box its really a question of how much you want to slam the clutch and spin the tires. A record breaking run is not the way that you can routinely operate your vehicle. Perhaps the time to get from 60 to 80 in one gear would be more repeatable.

The first NG900 review that I saw had a 0-60 of 5.9 seconds, which has over time become regarded as too fast and unrepresentative.

And whatever test you come up with, remember how performance changes with temperature and humidity, and perhaps summer vs winter grade fuels.

Dyno runs will show changes, but intercoolers on dyno runs don't get enough air flow to work properly and the performance on dyno's it then lower than reality.
