just loaded a 30x60 metal desk into mine yesterday

We're the architects/engineers for an addition and complete remodel of county library. They're getting rid of much existing furniture, and I had my eye on a metal desk (the old, heavy-duty type that you could rebuild an engine on) to place in my new garage.
I went down to put my name on one, thinking that I'd have to come back today with (my Aero and) the trailer to haul it. Hmm, it just might fit, and it did!
While loading it up, I was pleasantly surprised when one of the laborers moving things for the library came up, asked me "Is that a 2003 9-5?". He was thoroughly admiring the car, commenting to a coworker of his what a great car it was.
I couldn't help but think of the irony. Here's this (probably) barely educated, (maybe) $8/hr, dirty-clothed, unkept middle-aged man who recognizes and appreciates my car. I work with 50+ educated professionals (mostly architects and engineers), and probably half of them still couldn't name my car, after parking it in the lot for a year now. If it's not AWD or 4WD, they're not interested. I suspect that all of the SUV's out in the parking lot could have taken the desk, but they would have had to lift (all 150 lbs of) it another foot or two higher.
