A year ago, I bought some plugs for my wife's 99 9-5 SE 3.0. Not knowing any better, the counterman gave me some expensive Bosch plugs, I put them aside, and yesterday decided it was time to install them.
I took out BKR7ES11 NGK plugs, and went to put in the FR8LDC Bosch plugs, but was concerned the Bosch plugs were too hot (8 heat range), so I did a little research on this board, and other places.
My question, is the Bosch website wrong to list an application for Saab for this make/year/model. Or have they listed an engine that doesn't exist for this make/year/model. They called it a B308E engine. (I don't know any better). For some reason, I think that is a NA engine and not a turbo.
So, should I get these Bosch plugs out, or are they safe to use? (don't hold back, let me know what to do. I know now that NGK's are favored, I just don't want to blow up the DI or hole pistons by using the wrong plugs)
