I tested a Volvo here's my thoughs...

The drive was power oriented but not as "balenced" as the Areo that I finally bought on Saturday. Another feature that my wife pointed out is that the back seat in the Saab is far superior. There's more room and the seats are more forgiving allowing movement over long distances. The Volvo also has AWD which means more to maintain when the time comes and more to wear out. Also check out the milage on the volvo, that extra HP comes at an expense of milage.

Sometimes one more cylinder (5 vs 4) is just more... more gas more plugs more valves more bearings in short - more to bust.

I tend to buy for the duration and keep my autos for ten or so years if that matters then I suggest the Saab.

In Canada SAAB is GMand Volvo is FORD that might inflluence you too.

My .02$ worth.


PS don't buy that car with your "second head" let the brain direct you.
