I wouldn't say so. It rarely starts "instantly", but always within maybe 2 seconds. Doesn't seem temperature-dependent either.
Odd thing is it did start "instantly" before I did the 60K service. Immediately after, it sometimes took 3 or 4 seconds to start, but has been improving over time. And before you even ask, I used NGK BCPR7ES-11 plugs. Saw a TSB indicating that BCPR6ES (I think, or maybe 8's? One heat range different, anyhow) might help long-cranking-time problems, so installed a set with no change. They're what's in there now.
