9-5 Aero Academy video clip

The referenced clip is just one of a dozen "lab exercises" you go through at the Academy. This excercise is a 90 degree turn using the wet skidpad as the corner. The driver approaches in the dry. If you are too hot into the turn (more than 20 mph) it understeers. Enter below 20, or as you slow, the front end has enough traction to pull around the arc. Then at some point, the instructor pulls up the e-brake handle, initiating an oversteer spin. The driver is then expected to correct the spin and continue on through the turn. If you are good enough at it, the instructor will give the e-brake a second hit, just as you approach correction to get the spin going the other way.
The attached video clip is one of a driver nicely correcting the spin and regaining control.
Look for stills and more explainations in NINES #264 (July/August). What a great program! Reason enough to select an Aero over an Arc.
The clip is around 1 MB.
