Eric: just about 30 K miles on my 02 Aero sedan, and I still love the five sutomatic more than ever. Personally the paddles do not mean that much to me as I think that the sport mode makes a lot more sense. There is no doubt in my mind that manual shifting with a foot operated clutch and shift lever will go the way of the buggy whip and carbueretor. If you drive in traffic,the automatic is just the smoothest thing going. If you can do this deal and have a lower monthly payment, it seems like a pretty easy decision.I personally do not have a need for the configuratoin of the wagon, but most on this board who have them love them. I have driven about 20 of the wagons, and personally do not think that the handling is better, but is pretty much equal, which says a lot obout how good it is.
