Hey Brad:
Sorry to hear about your problems - been there, done that. I have been having decent experience with the local dealer that I have used for the past 8 years. My experience is that if I can re-produce the problem, they will fix it and I get pretty specific. Apart from that, there is a very good indy locally that I use to help diagnose issues.
With regards to the dealer, I always get a follow-up call from their customer service liason (?) person about the work done and I have always given them a true perception of what the experience was. I believe, in your warranty booklet, GM Canada outlines the arbitration process and it may be a step you need to take to get things resolved. I am somewhat surprised since there are way more dealers in ON compared to BC that they would be striving to keep their customers happy.
In any case, keep us posted on your progress as it would be useful information to know.
