Aero suspension and road surfaces

Hey all... would appreciate some help here.
Was at the used car mart and saw a 9-5 on offer. Salesman said that the owner opted for 'Aero suspension' rather than the standard one while choosing to retain the standard 16 inch rims. The car looked normal to me and i was rather incredulous..
Apart from actually driving and comparing the 2,are there any visual cues that would help to confirm the nature of the cars suspension? What are the exact details and specifications of the Aero and stock suspension anyway?
Also... We all know that diff road surfaces = diff noise levels but how does the road surface influence the grip and traction I have and for the record, concrete is the noisiest yes?>
cheers
