Those are a square section and while there is a front and rear crossbar, there is no specified front and back. Is the sedan version different perhaps?
With regards to wind noise:
There is a fairing kit available which will help to direct air up and over the racks, but really- you should take the racks off the car when you're not using them- they will last many more years if you only put them on the car when you intend to use them, not to mention a signifigant increase in fuel consumption if you consider the extra drag created in the long term.
And yes- with the racks installed on my '02 Aero wagon it is quite loud. Closing the sunroof and the sliding cover helps a bit, but if you're going to leave them on there then you'll have to live with it (or get the fairing) You can also try moving the front bar a bit farther rearward (I think you need to leave about a metre between the two bars for them to secure your carriers properly though)
Hope this helps
