The Viggen was a blast....fastest car I've ever owned, great seats, attracted a lot of attention on the road...5 speed manual transmission was relatively smooth, and I never had the problems that others had. Torque steer was ridiculous, albeit fun at times, and the suspension was rock hard...not favorable for Boston roads. Plus, the car tramlined on uneven roads. Not to mention the bent Viggen rims (I suffered two of them).
My Aero wagon is SO MUCH more refined...more space, seats aren't as good, but they are close, feels better built, same engine character, and I got the 5 speed auto, which is the PERFECT transmission for this engine. Sport mode brings on the turbo boost more quickly, it seems. Cargo space is great, stereo is great...overall, it's a sweet car. The '03 Aero alloy wheels are a bit plain...that's my only gripe.
Good luck.
