I have had a V6 for over 4 years, it now has 60k miles and has been trouble free, the engine still runs like new. If you want a manual transmission, the Aero must be your choice, but having driven several Aero automatics, I have to say that for around town driving I much prefer the V6, it has a smoother idle, is snappier off the line and has good mid range torque. On the open road, the Aero has more grunt in the upper speed ranges and undoubtedly has crisper handling. But, the SE rides better, uses less expensive tires (16" vs 17"), and is very well equipped. For me the SE V6 is the better choice for everyday driving. Others will disagree!
