V6 advantages (compared to lpt-4): quicker off the line, a bit smoother idle, a touch more passing power on the highway, "after-heater" feature.
lpt-4 advantages: less expensive, doesn't require premium gas, more after-market performance mods available.
If you can, drive both and see which you like. You can't lose either way.
