It sounds like you are ataking a signal that is already amplified heavily, the read door signal, and feeding it into the amplifier input that is designed to work with a low level signal and then amplify it. Chances are you should take your car to an auto stereo installation shop that knows what they are doing and pay them to get it right. In general, technical wiring information about most modern car's audio systems is kept manufacturer proprietary, so you might have difficulty getting a good Saab schematic on how the factory stereo is wired, and the best place to tap into the low level signal you need to drive the subwoofer's dedicated amp. When I did a similar project on my last 9000 Aero,I had trouble getting the needed information from the dealer network. Turns out that Saab did not supply it to them, and it took some digging to find out what pins on the radio's wiring harness had the right signal.
