Linas,
It certainly won't get tire snobs excited, but the OEM tires on the '03 Arc and Linear are Pirelli P6 all season.
I'm on an extended road trip (NJ-Buffalo-Cleveland-Lancaster) in my '03 Arc wagon at the moment and have been very happy with the wet weather capability of these tires. I've pushed them to maximum reasonable limits whenever possible (I'm a tire snob) on wet freeway on-ramps and at 80-85 mph on the straights during the t-storms that have rolling through lately. No complaints.
Also, since I enjoy staying off the interstates as much as possible, I've had my share of weird RR crossing and road construction surprises. Face it, real world highway infrastructure in this country is not friendly to boy racer wheel/tire combo's. The Pirellis are holding up nicely so far.
Nice handling, quiet, and holding up OK (10K). Don't know what I'll do for next set, but first, I'll check and see what Saab is spec'ing on the '04 models. How wrong can that be?
Keep us posted!
Greg
