If the hex head bed is striping with the force, you might try an "impact wrench". You mount your hex head socket on the impact wrench, then hit the end of the impact wrench with a rubber mallet. The wrench twists slightly as it compresses. So it forces the hex head into the bolt but turns it slightly at the same time. You can get one at any hardware store. I have used it to free many hex head bolts (like those on my BMW motorcycle) or the screws holding on rotors, etc.
The good thing about the impact wrench is that it works the same as an air powered impact wrench like a mechanic at a Saab dealer would use.
