you buy the 16 inch snow tire package.
I used my car all last winter for ski trips from Boston to Vermont, and got caught in one MAJOR storm. The car performed flawlessly, and even made it through roads with over 6-8 inches of snow on some side roads. I drove by many cars that were off the road, but a steady foot on the accelerator, use of the gears (in Sentronic mode), and yes, those tires, made for a solid, safe, and very predictable drive up. The car even made it up a steep hill and into the driveway of the skihouse I was staying in. No one else's car made it up!
It's a fantastic winter car...crank up the heated seats, fire up the Xenons, and you won't be disappointed.
Cheers,
Paul H.
