Several months ago when I was looking for cars, I started first by test driving the 'reliable' cars. I drove almost an hour to a Honda dealership to test drive a new one because from the literature I saw I liked the exterior styling. When I sat inside I couldn't believe my dissapointment. The interior was about as blah and boring as one could imagine. Remember that line in "Good Will Hunting" about 'unoriginal bas#$rds' well that about sums it up. If one doesn't opt for the completely overpriced navigation system you get a massive ugly stereo system, that only a mother (Honda Motor Co.) could love. The spedometer is about the size of a small dinner plate. Honda makes great cars - my mother has been driving a Civic since 97 with ZERO problems other than an exhaust that rusted out (lives in Massachusetts). Hondas are really bulletproof but they need to hire some European consultants (or just copy) for the interior design. When you sat inside a model with leather seats it still felt like a cheap interior that someone put leather seats into, compared to Saab's which you feel the designers had leather on the brain from original design conception.

I know the CPO 9-5 Aero I bought will not be as reliable as the new 6-speed V6 Accord, but the Aero was thousands less. That's not a decision I will ever regret. Just one person's opinion.
