When the TB goes, it also throws a code.
I have held these in my hand, and they can be "reset" by undoing whatever it is that unhooks the throttle from the motor.
Contact your dealer for the latest information, b/c at the Owners' convention there was a suggestion that the TB failures are mostly just some degradation in the potentiometers that measure the "command" and the "actual" position, so that the result falls "out of tolerance". There has been some thought that a software update to allow wider tolerance, or to "dither" the throttle position, might "cure" the problems. Another possibility if you are out of warranty, is to simply clean the pots, and have the Tech II guy reset the sytem and see if it helps...at this point, there's little to lose.
