On my 1998 900SET, all the fasteners I have seen look like regular Torx drive. Not sure if Torx Plus may be used on later model Saabs.
The Textron website states that the regular Torx driver is compatibile with the Torx Plus fasteners. It does not say whether the Torx Plus drivers are compatible with the regular Torx fasteners though.
From the http://www.textron Fastening System website: http://www.textronfasteningsystems.com/database/threaded/threadnc.html
