I have always felt some vibration in the gas pedal. I took my car in for a knock in the front end, and aside from that, they discovered that one of the upper motor mounts was way off center, so the vibration from the engine was being passed directly into the frame. I was not aware that the car should be smoother, but after they adjusted it I could definitely tell the difference on the highway. You could just have one wheel that is out of balance. Your dealer should be willing to balance them for you as a place to start.
Good Luck,
AeroLady
