Aero wagon back safe and sound

Picked up my newly fixed wagon Friday night (just before the snow started in DC -- I was getting nervous that I'd have to find out how bad the Primacys are in snow, but got it home before the white stuff started falling in the city). No evidence of anything remaining from the rear-ending. I do notice that the bumper is just a slight bit lighter than the rest of the car (steel grey), but it's not jarring. The new exhaust system smells a bit -- a rubbery burning smell after I turn the car off, but I imagine that's just the newness of it. Still don't understand why that was replaced, but clearly it was compromised somehow in the accident. That was about $800 of the $3,800 estimate, which seems awfully high. Park assist works, the car was clean and waxed, and they painted the front bumper spoiler as requested. So the car looks great! And what a joy to drive after a month in a Taurus -- really makes you appreciate the Aero.
Now I have to find a weekend to get the snows on pronto as winter has clearly begun.
'02 Aero wagon, 5 spd.
