I NEED EXPERT ADVICE

I just purchased a 1999 9-5 with 140K km on it. Within one week I had flooded the engine and had to change fuel injectors, spark plugs, the like. The engine was put on the computer, which detected that nothing was wrong. After numerous hours of labor, I thought my problem was solved, but I still get the "check engine" light showing. The car drives fine, so i am hoping that it is just a glitch in a sensor or something. I say this because i get the "brake light failure" every time i start the engine, but the lights work fine, so that must be a sensor thing. Please give me input on what may be wrong with the engine, thanks.
