How was the ACC set?

In Auto mode, if the temperature drops below 40 degrees or so, the compressor will shut off. This will increase MPG. How cold was it for your trip?
I leave mine in Econ all winter. The performance is a little better and there is less vibration at idle - even with a V-6.
