It may be a little late, seeing as how the snow hit yesterday. But I just put on the Saab Snow Tire package (Gislaveds mounted on 7-spoke Saab alloys). Bought them in Green Bay on Saturday for $800 installed.....just in time for the first real wintery condidtions of the year. I have to say, they handled as expected - I wasn't looking for any kind of miraculous grip on the icy roads (they aren't studded of course), but when I got on to the snow side streets, the combination of the traction control, ABS, and snow tires was exactly what I needed to jump off the line at green lights while everyone else was spinning away.
I would say, based on initial impressions of 4 hours in the car, is that they are great handling in the snow. I don't think I would put them above the Nokian Hakka-1's that I have on my 900SET - but then again, how often do you drive in 4 inches of fresh snow with little sign of dry pavement?
If anyone is still looking for a set, I think they had one left at the dealer. Just call Broadway Saab for details.
