I would expect not. Once Saab produces something that does not work well, they keep it in production :)
-NG900 front suspension bugs last to 2002.
-NG900 TBTC lasts to 1999
-ACC been buggy forever
-NG900 manual climate control knobs breaking for many years
-9-5 ACC damper motors self destructing
-NG900 new smaller body steering rack, now to mount that, just add more blubber to the blubber bushing
