a search here. There has been much discussion about it.
I picked up a used one for $75 as a spare. When my DI went out around 75K miles, I installed it. More recently, I purchased one off eBay for $230, installed it, and carry the used "spare" as a spare.
It's the only sudden failure problem discussed here. Or the only sudden failure that will leave you stranded. Most other problems result in decreased performance, or can be caught prior to failure with inspection.
I certainly wouldn't lose any sleep over it. Your 9-5 is a very reliable, well-engineered vehicle.
