What is your estimate as to the cost of E-code conversion? I thought conversion was meerly a matter of swapping out lenses. I didn't think E-code had anything to do with upping the power output as well, or was that something you did in addition to a E-code lens conversion.

I might have the terminology wrong here, so please correct me:
Does E-code refer to just the different lens, or does 'E-code' relate to the entire light system, lamp including wiring, etc.

Your comments on driving a car as if you have big spot lights on is exactly my experience (sitting in the passenger seat) of some of my friends cars. But just as you don't use your high beams in the snow or fog (because of the white-out/glare), xenons might have long distance issues in poor weather. It sounds like your the perfect test case. Let us know if/when you ever do a side-by-side comparison.
