The Service Manual is available on CD, called the WIS (Workshop Information System, or something like that). Only consistent US source I am aware of is Schiff European Automotive Literature, located in Rhode Island but they have a web site too. Cost is around $200.
Ocassionally they appear on internet auctions for substantially less, and sometimes more!
The parts manual is called the EPC (Electronic Parts Catalog), also on CD. These are regular sellers on internet auctions for $10 to $30 range.
A second source is http://www.saabtechinfo.com This is Saab's official service information site and they sell subscriptions for access. Cost ranges from $10 for one day to $500 for an entire year.
A third source is http://www.alldata.com Not necessarily as up to date or accurate as the others, but some users swear by them.
This BB is another good source for free informaiton, advise, and instructions. Site sponsors such as http://www.genuinesaab.com also post illustrated instructions for common D-I-Y service on their web sites.
Enjoy your car.
