Haven't posted in a while. I guess that's a good thing because the car's been doing well. Just wanted to share my experience last friday.
I decided to take a drive on HWY 48, between HWY 1 and 280. Those of you in the SF bay area know what I'm talking about. Well, this is a fairly twisty road that travels a good 15 miles or so. I was expecting the 9-5 to lumber through the turns and be completely naseated by the time I get to HWY 280. I was pleasantly surprised that I wasn't. The 9-5 did understeer alittle, but I think the rear sway bar upgrade helped control this. The roads were a little wet from the recent rain, so I wasn't blazing through. The Falken tires did their job. I didn't find myself sliding around in my seat. I think the seat comfort is great. My only complaint would be directed at the shifter. On this road there was a lot of shifting between 2-3-4 and the shifting was a little klunky. We all know how this car's an awesome open highway car. 9-5's no mazda maita, but I was surprised how well this big car took to the turns. Anyways, just wanted to share some good news to balance all the other bad posts.
