I installed it w/ a friend of mine (near master tech levels) from Wright Saab in Wexford, PA. It wasn't too difficult and can probably be done yourself. The hardest part was disconnecting the tranny from the engine, to give us enough wiggle room to take the shifter assembly out. My buddy did that part...he had the longest wrench attachment I've ever seen. I couldn't see exactly what he was disconnecting, but it was right behind the firewall. I made the instructions for the install...and apparently the people at Saab Savior dumbed them down b/c they were "way too detailed". Cute. Anyway, when you decide to do it, I can find my copy in my work notes and post it if you like. Here's a pic of what the shifter looked like (exactly the same, but the top is metal instead of plastic).
